Local schools are open and students are heading off to their respective colleges and universities which reinforces my belief that summer was all too short. However we are approaching the wonderful fall season which promises (at least for those of us who live in cooler climates) crisp, cool, evenings, ripe apples, and fires in the fireplace.
Before we know it, we’ll have the opportunity to attend IBM’s Insight 2014 Conference being held October 26th through 30th. In the past, Insight has been known as “Information on Demand.” This year’s conference promises to be bigger and better than ever with over 13,000 attendees expected, 1,300+ exhibitors in the EXPO, 120+ hands on labs, and approximately 300 client and Business Partner Speakers. This year’s conference will be dedicated to Big Data and Analytics and will include:
- Real Time Data and Contextual Decision Making
- Big Data Implications on Supply Chain
- Cognitive Computing
- Infrastructure Requirements
To make it even better, once again, Sunday, October 26th will be dedicated to Enzee Universe, a “Conference within a Conference” dedicated to Netezza technology.
Key agenda topics will include:
- Customer experiences with PureData System for Analytics
- PureData System for Analytics Best Practices
- Customer panel discussion
- Business overview and product roadmap
- Guide to the Insight Conference
To attend, just select session IWS-6951 and IWS-6952 in the Agenda Builder tool.
I’d also like to highlight an important session that I also encourage you to attend.
